Utah Mark Syncro

This Syncro came to us not running. It had been ridden hard and put away…..toasted.
When we pulled the motor the throwout bearing was melted, metal shavings were appearant
in the bell housing, and the clutch disc was gone…We took photos and sent them to the client and
also to a well known VW tranny specialist…He suggested a sleeve to tighten the input shaft play, which
we pressed into the bell housing, a new throwout bearing, pilot bearing, clutch disc, flywheel and
pressure plate. We installed all items, along with our SVX motor kit and Mark was on his way back to Utah…
